The Sovereign AI Agent for Engineering R&D, developed jointly by Atos and manufacturer Flender China has been recognized as the Best Agentic AI Practice, which reduced design cycles by 83%, saving approximately 2,000 engineering hours annually.

The solution helps engineering teams move faster from concept to market launch while delivering measurable business outcomes, including:
- An 83% reduction in design standard document and engineering drawing interpretation time, from approximately 30 minutes to 5 minutes
- A sixfold increase in engineering design processing capacity
- Annual savings of approximately 2,000 engineering hours
- Improved knowledge reuse, faster onboarding, and enhanced collaboration across engineering teams
